MERRY   CHRISTMAS

Salzman Sayings
04 December 2006
Small Feather

So much has happened in the past couple of months and we have a lot to tell you. Through your generosity God has provided a home for us to purchase in Niles, Michigan. Praise the Lord! It was a bank repo, so there is a lot of work to be done on it, but we are very excited!  The house is a three bedroom home with a fenced in backyard, which will be nice when Luke is old enough to play outside on his own.  There are many projects we need to complete before we move in, so please pray that God will continue to provide the finances we need and the time needed to get everything done.  We are hoping to move in February, but it may not happen until March.

Salzman, New House

Things are busy at work.  The downstairs area where Scott works is now completed and all the computers are up and running after being moved all around.  The new software that was implemented in the fall is causing some problems so please pray that they will be resolved soon!  An urgent prayer request we have is for more people to come on board with the IT dept.  Last month, we lost two of the guys working in IT (they have moved on to other places) and a third person is planning on leaving in February.  So the IT dept will be down to just Scott and an administrative assistant that handles all the billing and ordering for the department.   Needless to say, there is a lot on Scott's plate right now with trying to handle the workload of three people and working on our new house!

The road teams are finishing up their last summits for the season before they take their Christmas break.  Here is an excerpt from one of the lead speakers on our Blue team:

We have just concluded an incredible two weeks here in Toccoa, Georgia.  I can't remember a meeting in the last many years where the transparency of so many people was so clear and forthcoming.  In the last few services we had over five hours of significant, honest and humble testimonies as people shared the depth of their bitterness, immorality, and fresh surrender to the will of God.

We are always so excited when we hear of people shedding the "old self" and putting on the new!

Luke is growing like a weed!  He is so much fun to have around.  He is starting to say "Uh-Oh" and of course, "No!"  He is definitely keeping us hopping!  We celebrated his first birthday a couple of weeks ago with some friends and he ended up with a tummy ache from eating a whole cupcake!

Andrea has been busy working on our new house and packing up our current house, not to mention getting ready for Christmas!  We are traveling to New Hampshire to be with her family for Christmas so we are excited about that.  Hopefully we will be able to see some of you while we are in the area!

We pray that God will draw you closer to Himself during this Christmas season.  May your homes be filled with Joy!  Thank you again for your prayers and gifts you have sent us, we are so grateful for you!

Because of Him,
     Scott & Andrea
