Dear Friends and Family,

I cannot believe all that has happened since the last letter I sent out!   This summer I was able to take two weeks and spend it in New Hampshire.   The first week I was home I worked at Camp Maranatha in New Durham, NH.   Mom and I were co-counselors in a cabin that housed 11 girls for 1 week that were ages 9-12.  It was a wonderful week, full of unexpected blessings and challenges.  We had a really good group of girls that were pretty unified and it was so rewarding to work with Mom once again.   The second week I was in NH flew by!   I spent most of the time packing things to move out to Michigan that I was storing at Mom and Dad's.  Alicia threw me a bridal shower which was so much fun and the gifts were such a blessing!  It was wonderful to be able to see so many old friends and family and have a chance to visit!   I was overwhelmed by everyone's generosity!

My first day back at work after my trip was quite busy, as I found out that we were finally moving into our new National Ministry Center!  As I type this letter I am sitting at my new desk and it is wonderful!!!  We actually officially moved Monday, July 19th and it went so smoothly that I was able to get right to work the next morning, and have been busy catching up on paperwork ever since!  The building is beautiful and it is such a blessing to finally be all moved in.  Thank you all so much for your prayers in this area!

Another project that has been taking up a lot of my time has been the wedding (not that I am complaining mind you, I am thrilled!)  Things are moving along really well, but since summer is our busiest time here at Life Action, it has been a challenge juggling everything!  Scott has been a huge help which is a blessing that I wasn't expecting!  We have also been trying to secure housing for when we are married and God has been faithful to provide.  We are still in the process of trying to raise more support, and are still in need of about $1000 more per month.   At times it seems a little overwhelming, but we are trusting God to supply.   Once we are married we will be staying temporarily at the Life Action Retreat and Conference Center in a small cottage until all the support we need comes in.   We are hoping to be able to move things and get a little settled before I head back to NH in September to finish preparations for the wedding.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers in this area, there is so much to be done in such a short amount of time! God is teaching me to take one day at a time and trust Him to work out all the details for tomorrow.

This has been such an exciting time, but also a time where God is teaching me to fully rely upon Him in the midst of all the craziness around me. Again, thank you for all your prayers and support, I cannot tell you what a blessing it is to know you are praying for us!

With Love,
     Andrea Shedd
